All apologies for not getting this to you all sooner. Had I stayed up last night ’til 4am to finish it, it probably would’ve been 40% longer but at least 65% of the recap would’ve been “ALL LOST AND NO SLEEP MAKE JEFF A DULL BOY…ALL LOST AND NO SLEEP MAKE JEFF A DULL BOY…” You get the idea. just an fyi that you all probably know…hollywood always uses the 555 exchange for phone numbers, as they don’t exist…therefore innocent people don’t end up with crazies trying to phone the number that they see/hear/determine in tv and movie shows!so, Jack’s number is one of the 555 numbers…
thanks for two great info-filled/hilarious recaps gordo. and yes, 555 numbers were introduced after the song “867-530nnniiinnnnnne” caused millions of phone calls to that number.
I liked this idea posted on DocArzt’s site: the Island needs a Constant before it’ll stop jumping through time (much like Desmond needed Penny). If this theory is correct, it stands to reason the castaways are that Constant.
I never read this comment before about the island being the Constant. But, half way through re watching season 5, it makes sense!
