EPIC FAIL on my part. I think I was so tired it slipped my mind I needed to take a picture. So, instead, I searched the Interwebz for a picture taken August 5th. Below is the first I found.

I’m not sure how that paint got there.

Finally got around to starting the painting process at my new apartment. The cat and cigarette-smoke-soaked carpets were replaced, and the fresh coats of paint in each room have transformed the place nicely. Before and after shots of the living room / dining room below:

Man, another whole day of great weather! Unbelievable! We all thoroughly enjoyed a day poolside at the mansion of some friends of a friend. The owners of this jaw-dropping house were out of town and kindly (or perhaps foolishly) gave us the proverbial keys to the place while they were gone. GREAT SUCCESS

As is my style, I made sure to get a hideous sunburn.

On my way out of the parking lot at work, I came upon this SUV parked in the middle of the exit. The handicapped driver was kind enough to leave room on either side for cars to enter and exit.

After all the crappy weather we’ve had in June and July, I’m soaking up every minute of sunshine we get…at the final Thursday at the Square no less.
